FIELD: navigational instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: used in marine magnetic compasses (MC). The essence of the proposed method for measuring the magnetic heading of a ship while rolling is to combine the output signals of a micromechanical gyroscope (MMG) and a magnetic heading sensor (MHS) using high-pass filters (HPF) and low-pass filters (LPF). In this case, at the output of the correction system, a heading angle is formed, which is a combination of low-frequency and high-frequency components, respectively, MHS and MMG. In addition, when implementing the claimed method, the invariance condition is met, in which the sum of the transfer functions of the HPF and the LPF is equal to one - for this purpose, two additional amplifiers are introduced into the correction system: a MHS signal amplifier with a gain K1=1, as well as an MMG signal amplifier with a gain K2=T equal to the LPF time constant.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of developing the MC heading when following a vessel on any course.
