FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding. SUBSTANCE: powder to be pressed is placed in tubular shell. Space forming material in form of polymeric fibers is pulled through holes in tubular shell at a distance not less than 2-5 diameters of fibers to form layers. Assembly, thus formed is placed in inner space of protective tubular lining, filled-up by ceramic powder, between upper and lower dies. Welding is done by impact loading caused by acceleration of cylindrical striker by powder throwing device and blow of striker applied to axial channel of protective tubular lining at a speed of 400 - 600 m/s. Ratio of specific mass and sum of specific masses of dies, ceramic powder of metal disks and pressed powder is 0.3 - 0.42. Pressed part, thus obtained, is heated to temperature 1.25 - 2 - times higher than temperature of thermal decomposition of polymeric fibers. Proposed method provides high and uniform density of powder matrix in height of article and stability of section of formed channels in length. Articles are free from chips and cracks. EFFECT: possibility of getting multiple- channel articles with small cross-section of channels. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 3 dwg, 3 ex
