FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, possibly power supply systems of aluminum cells.

SUBSTANCE: unit includes flexible aluminum cathode outlet whose one end is rigidly connected with cathode bus and other end is connected with cathode steel rod through bimetallic Al-Cu plate by means of bolt joint. Steel plate is fastened by explosion welding to bimetallic plate and it is arranged in zone said bolt joint over copper layer. Bimetallic plate is connected with cathode rod by means of bolt joint through steel sleeve whose lower side is in contact with steel insert.

EFFECT: improved electric contact in detachable cathode connection unit.
