FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in carrying out any analysis requiring isolation of nucleic acids from complex samples, in particular, in medicinal diagnosis, forensic-medicinal examination and examination of foodstuffs. Invention proposes the composition for isolation of nucleic acids (NA) from different complex samples involving lysis of the parent material and binding NC with a solid phase. The composition comprises buffer system for carrying out lysis/binding comprising at least one chaotropic salt component, sold phase and usual buffers used for rinsing and elution of NA. The buffer system can be represented as both an aqueous solution and in solid state in reaction vessels suitable for using. Fiberglass combings, glass membranes, ceramic articles, zeolites and materials with negatively charged surface or chemically modified surface that can be converted to negatively charged surface can be used as a solid phase. Also, invention relates to a method for isolation of NA based on applying the proposed composition and characterizing simplicity in performance and high effectiveness.
