SUBSTANCE: invention describes emulsion of type "oil-in-water" comprising oily phase that contains combination of polysaccharide and copolyol of dimethicone and an aqueous phase wherein polysaccharide is taken among group consisting of aminopolycarboxylate derivative of starch, xanthane resin, hydroxyethylcellulose and hydroxypropyl starch phosphate, aminopolycarboxylate exhibiting one of the following structure:

wherein ST-O represents starch molecule or molecule of modified starch (wherein hydrogen atom of hydroxy-group in anhydroglucose block is replaced as indicated); R represents hydrogen atom (H) or CH₃; R' represents hydrogen atom (H), CH₃ or COOM wherein M represents cation taken among group consisting of hydrogen atom (H), alkaline metal, alkaline-earth metal and ammonium; n = 2 or 3; R'' represents hydrogen atom (H) or alkyl with 1-18 carbon atoms; and dimethicone copolyl shows the following formula:

wherein I has values from 1 to 200; m has values from 1 to 40; n has values from 1 to 100; y has values from 4 to 40; z has values from 0 to 40; the mass ratio y : z is from about 100:0 to about 0:100; R is taken among hydrogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy- or acyl groups comprising about 1-16 carbon atoms. These compounds are used in cosmetic compositions.
