FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for unloading continuous railway lengths from railway vehicle. According to proposed method initial ends of long-cut articles to be unloaded are connected to ends of unloading wire ropes and articles are relieved from fasteners on railway vehicles. Initial end sections of long-cut articles to unloaded are slinged up by rail grips and are raised by braked crane. Vehicle is driven from under lifted long-cut articles, unloading wire ropes are disconnected from ends of articles after loosening of tension, and initial ends of articles are lowered on base. Unloaded sections of long-cut articles are secured on base, cantilever crane brakes are released and crane is moved following the vehicle from which long-cut articles are unloaded. Vehicle with non-unloaded final end sections is stopped, rail sections are slinged by rail grips and final end sections of long-cut articles are lifted. Vehicle is completely brought from under long-cut articles, and final end sections of long-cut articles are smoothly lowered onto base. Free ends of unloading wire ropes are connected to crane and crane is moved, before its braking with lifted initial end sections and connected unloading wire ropes, in direction to platforms with unloaded sections of long-cut articles or in direction from platforms with unloaded sections of long-cut articles, and long-cut articles are unloaded onto linings.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
