FIELD: railway transportation technology. SUBSTANCE: in realizing this method, initial parts of lengthy articles are raised up, train of railway cars is moved under articles being loaded to maximum possible distance, then train of railway cars is stopped, loaded part of lengthy articles is secured by means of fastening device on platform cars of railway train so as to prevent its longitudinal displacement. Tail part of railway car train with loaded lengthy articles is uncoupled from train. Head part of railway car train is moved towards tail part of train for coupling with it. In this case, sagging of loaded lengthy articles is taken out and initial part of lengthy articles is displaced along roller supports over platform cars of railway train. Tail part of train is moved in direction away from braked part of railway train. Tail part of train is moved under initial parts of lengthy articles until ends of articles reach fastening device. Aforesaid method allows for increasing efficiency of loading lengthy articles to railway platform car train due to its simplification and higher accuracy in placing ends of articles being loaded in fastening device.
