FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention present a method, that may find application in engineering industry, in particular, in production of coatings on items made out iron or its alloys. The coatings on a surface of the items is produced by realization of thermochemical reaction of interacting at heating to reaction temperature of oxides and deoxidizers, which are forming a fusion structure. Oxide is produced by preliminary acidification of a surface of an item till formation of oxides. Then for formation of a fusion structure the deoxidizer is applied on the surface. In the capacity of deoxidizer is used aluminum. In the fusion structure they enter nano- or ultra-dispersible powders of refractory compounds. In the capacity of the refractory compounds carbonitrides are used. The hardfaced material of a coating is additionally added with the elements, which together with it form a layer of an antifriction alloy, and in the process of hardfacing of a coating on the inner surface of the item made in the form of a cylinder it is rotated about an axis. The method allows to produce a coating of high quality and increased thickness and to expand the nomenclature of produced coatings.
