FIELD: machining of optical parts.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of machining of a telescope combined mirror aspherical surface and may be used at aspherization of surfaces of the large-sized combined mirrors of telescopes. In turn realize a shaping of spherical surfaces on hexahedral elements with the radiuses corresponding to an location of these elements on an aspherical surface of a primary mirror. The mentioned radiuses are equal to a length of a normal in a zone of connection of an axial and extra-axial elements or extra-axial elements of adjacent rows. At control they adjust an interference pattern in the zone of connection of the elements. Make a shaping of the asphericity of an axial element at moving the machining tool from a connection point to its center and of an extra-axial element at moving the machining tool from a connection point to its edge. Perform a calculation of a topographic map of an observable common part of the surfaces and conduct runs of machining of the optical surface. In result the invention allows to raise machining accuracy due to optimization of the process of aspherization of surfaces.
