FIELD: oxides of valve metals including those modified and having reduced oxygen content; production of anodes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed anode production method includes following steps: molding of mixture of niobium oxide powder having reduced oxygen content and at least one binder or lubricating agent, or both, mentioned mixture being obtained by applying coating of mentioned binder and/or lubricating agent on mentioned powder. This method is effected by spraying, drying by spraying, treatment in fluidized bed, micro-encapsulation and/or coacervation of mentioned mixture. Oxides of valve metals having reduced oxygen content are modified to obtain desired properties of capacitor anodes more acceptable from commercial standpoint. Alternative method relates to anodes formed from modified oxides of valve metals having reduced oxygen content.

EFFECT: improved properties of commercial capacitor anodes.
