FIELD: electro-chemistry, namely, methods for restoration of niobium oxide.
SUBSTANCE: method includes thermal processing of source niobium oxide in presence of gas absorber material in atmosphere, providing for possible transfer of atoms of oxygen from source niobium oxide to gas absorber material, during sufficient time and at sufficient temperature for source niobium oxide and aforementioned gas absorber material to form niobium oxide with decreased oxygen content. Also described are oxides of niobium and/or lower oxides, and also capacitors, containing anodes, made of oxides and lower oxides of niobium.
EFFECT: increased resistance against squeezing and decreased pollution level.
