FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing portions of equal weight or equal volume and supplying the portions to the device for converting the portions into the continuous flow at regular intervals caused by the flow of material from the charging unit to the discharging unit. The portions are converted into the continuous flow over a chute inclined to the horizon at an angle, which is less than that of the rest friction of loose material on the surface of the chute. The material is caused to flow due to the vibration of the chute with the amplitude, which decreases linearly from the charging unit to the discharging one. The device comprises the base, chute, whose discharging end is pivotally connected with the base, vibrator mounted on the base and connected with the charging end of the chute, baffle mounted inside the chute for permitting movement along the axis, and batcher. The baffle consists of two parts mounted for independent movement with respect to each other. The height of each part is less than the height of the chute. The top edge of one of the parts underlies the top edge of the chute. The bottom edge of the other part defines a slot clearance with respect to the bottom of the chute.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of batching.
