FIELD: sugar production, in particular separation of last crystallization massecuite in conical nozzle discharge centrifuge.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes massecuite feeding in centrifuge accelerating rotor device; separation thereof in thin layer on filtering rotor surface under depression under in centrifuge case under filtering surface of 0.8-1.0 kPa; discharging of separated crystals and molasses from centrifuge. Prior to feeding of last crystallization massecuite into accelerating device distilled soft monoglyceride in amount of 0.005-0.008 mass % is added therein for viscosity minimization, and centrifugation is carried out at 35-50°C.
EFFECT: increased massecuite separation ratio; sugar of improved quality; decreased sugar losses in molasses.
