FIELD: fat-and-oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of fat-and-oil industry, in particular, to the methods of determination of neutralization number of vegetable oils. The method provides for taking a sample of the oil, its commixing with a water solution of an alkali metal with obtaining a mix, its placing in a gauge of a pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) - analyzer. Then measure values of amplitudes of NMR signals and calculate the value of the neutralization number by a calibration equation. At that in the capacity of a water solution of an alkali metal is used a water solution of sodium hydroxide with concentration of 0.5-0.7 mole / dm3, and commixing of the oil with the sodium hydroxide water solution is conducted at the temperature of 20-25°C and at the ratio of the oil - water solution of sodium hydroxide as (1:2) - (1:3) during 5-10 sec. The volume of the mix placed in the gauge of the NMR - analyzer corresponds to 10 ml. The invention allows to develop a precise express - method of determination of a neutralization number of a vegetative brown-colored oil, not depending on its physical-chemical characteristics.
EFFECT: the invention ensures development of a precise express-method of determination of a neutralization number of a vegetable brown-colored oil not depending on its physical-chemical characteristics.
