Abstract RU 2253902 C1

FIELD: fire alarms, particularly used in mine automatic control systems.

SUBSTANCE: fire detector includes emitting source, objective lens, heat-sensitive member and photodetector linked one with another. Heat-sensitive member is made of hard crystals. Fire detector is provided with divergent lens installed in front of heat-sensitive member, focusing lens located behind heat-sensitive member and with optical fiber cable connecting divergent lens with objective lens and focusing lens with photodetector. Heat-sensitive member is made as liquid crystals of cholesteric type to which smectics of A, B and C type are added.

EFFECT: simplified structure, possibility of fire detector usage in mines in the presence gas or duct explosion hazard.
