FIELD: surgical equipment for rendering first aid in case of hemorrhage from injured blood vessels.

SUBSTANCE: hemostatic cord has splint, retainer, and stretchable streak connected with retainer. Splint is formed as group pf sections connected with one another through movable joints. Each of movable joints is designed so that its sections may be folded into pack. At least one section of joint may be removed.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing operative fitting of apparatus to application zones of various sizes and shapes.
