FIELD: medicine; neurology.
SUBSTANCE: computer or magnetic-resonant tomography is applied by means of application of contrast marks which are disposed onto skin of patient's head at axial plane in relation to coordinate system of tomography. Coordinates of marks and target point are determined at coordinate system of tomography. Model of intrabrain space is built by including the points of model which correspond to those marks. Coordinates of target point of model are determined when putting coordinates of marks into coincidence with coordinates of corresponding points of model. Stereotaxic apparatus is directed to model of target point and put onto patient's head to direct it to target point of intrabrain space.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of stereotaxic operations performed onto unconscious patients or children.
