FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, radiology and can be used for diagnostics and surgical treatment of functional disorders and brain new-growths. Markers are fixed on skull by design, consisting of localizer with markers and tray with imprint of teeth attached to it, fastened on upper jaw of patient during tomographic analysis. Multimodal tomographic images are obtained. Markers are monomodal markers with individual for each modality geometry of location of markers on localizer. Markers of each modality are fixed on corresponding localizer and examination is made at tomographs corresponding to markers’ modality to obtain series of images of brain with markers. In series coordinates of markers of localizer corresponding to modality and coordinate system (CS) of localizer of first modality are determined in inner CS tomograph of first modality and then each localizer in SC tomograph of each of following modalities. Then localizers of used modalities are fixed in turn on measuring device to determine coordinates of markers’ localizers in SC of measuring device. SC of localizers is built in SC measuring device. Tomographic images are combined, determining coordinates of selected image point in intracerebral space of patient, obtained by means of tomograph of first modality, at first in SC of localizer of first modality with subsequent conversion of coordinates of this point from SC of localizer of first modality in SC of measuring device and then in SC of localizer of following modality and further - in SC of tomograph of corresponding modality.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of alignment of tomographic images obtained more than from two modalities, due to flexibility of SC of measuring device, making it possible to perform conversion of coordinates of points for unlimited number of localizers with individual SC and monomodal markers, optimally selected for each tomographic method – for the best contrast image with non-traumatic, non-invasiveness fixation of markers.
