FIELD: equipment used in home and commercial washing-squeezing apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: washing machine has reservoir with chamber for receiving of articles to be washed, air pressure oscillation inducer for inducing air pressure oscillations above liquid surface in reservoir, and processing branch pipes. Above mentioned parts are arranged in lower part of washing machine and are connected with one another. Said chamber is equipped with movable sealing device. Grid is positioned in lower part of said chamber. Upper end of said chamber is closed with cover. Oscillation inducer is formed as small-sized compressor with receiver and controllable pneumatic valve. Cover positioned in upper part of said chamber is hermetically closed. Chamber side wall is made liquid-permeable. Said chamber is furnished with rotational motion drive having coupling enabling lifting of said chamber above reservoir sealing surface to height exceeding value of elastic deformation of sealing device. Method involves providing air pressure pulsations above liquid surface in reservoir, with air pressure amplitude being set within the range of 0.05-2 atm, pulse repetition frequency within the range of 0.05-5 Hz, porosity within the range of 0.08-0.70.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics and increased efficiency.
