FIELD: pulsation apparatuses and methods of their operation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus may be used in processes of solid particles treatment with liquids, for instance, impregnation, washing, extraction, leaching, etc. Pulsation apparatus has one or more similar working bodies closed from atop with covers and interconnected with one another in their lower parts; exciter of pressure fluctuations and process branch pipes. Connected to working bodies lower parts is pipe whose upper end is connected with a pulsation body. Exciter of pressure fluctuations is connected to upper part of working bodies or the pulsation body. Volume of liquid Vp (cu.m) in the pulsation body is at least Vp=(1.1-1.5) Vair, where p0 is absolute air pressure in pulsation bodies at beginning of compression cycle, Pa; pend is absolute air pressure in pulsation bodies at end of compression cycle, Pa; Vair is air total volume in working bodies at pressure p0, cu.m. Method of apparatus operation consists in excitation of suspension fluctuations in apparatus. Duration of stage of pressure increasing in supply of pressure fluctuations to upper part of working bodies exceeds duration of pressure release by a factor of 2-20, and duration of stage of pressure increasing during supply of pressure fluctuations to upper part of pulsation bodies is shorter that duration of pressure releasing by a factor of 2-20.
