FIELD: pulsation apparatuses and methods of their operation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus may be used in processes of solid particles treatment with liquids, for instance, impregnation, washing, extraction, leaching, etc. Pulsation apparatus has one or more similar bodies interconnected by their lower parts and provided with partitions permeable for liquid; exciter of pressure fluctuations and process of branch pipes. Upper parts of bodies are communicated with atmosphere or with equipment for gas cleaning from drops and vapor condensation. Connected to bodies lower parts is pulsation pipe whose upper end is connected with exciter of pressure fluctuations. Method of pulsation apparatus operation consists in pulse periodic supply of liquid to apparatus bodies to under permeable bottom from pulsation pipe. Average velocity of liquid flow in pulsation pipe is within the range determined by double inequality of , where n is number of bodies; Sa is body cross-section area, sq.m; Wf is velocity of beginning of particle layer fluidization in body, m/s; Wr.p is average velocity of liquid flow in pulsation pipe during liquid supply to bodies, m/s; H is distance of liquid level in body to body upper part, m; Tpulse is duration of pulse during liquid supply to bodies, s.
