FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly means to protect forests against fires.
SUBSTANCE: method involves receiving heat from fire; converting the heat into inner energy of working medium, which is accompanied with working medium phase change from liquid state into vapor one and with following conversion of inner energy into electric one and then into electromagnet radiation, which is transmitted on the air as fire alarm signal. The energy conversion is performed in three stages. The first stage includes converting heat energy into inner energy of working medium. The second stage involves converting inner energy of working medium into electrical one at temperature corresponding to liquid working medium boiling temperature with the use of energy of waves formed on liquid working medium surface during boiling thereof, inner energy of vapor bubble created during liquid working medium boiling and expulsive force acting on the bubble. The third stage includes conversion of electric energy into electromagnetic radiation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of forest fire extinguishing and reduced time of fire detection.
