FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Eye parametres are determined. Parametres are measured separately in each of two halves of AEL, symmetrical with respect to AEL transversal symmetry axis, coinciding with central optical axis, by means of ultrasonic biomicroscopy. In the first half of AEL measurements are carried out in plane formed by longitudinal axis going through the optic part centre and AEL central optic axis. For this purpose measured is distance on perpendicular from the edge of posterior surface of iris to the point of anterior surface of AEL optic part, further, measured is the distance between scleral spur and point of butt end surface of haptic part, lying on longitudinal symmetry axis of AEL. Similar method is used to carry out measurements of parametres of the second symmetrical half of AEL. If the distance, measured on perpendicular from the edge of posterior surface of iris to the point of anterior surface of AEL optic part of the first symmetrical half of AEL is different from the same distance of the second symmetrical half of AEL on magnitude 0.05 mm and more, and the distance between scleral spur and point of butt end surface of haptic part of the first symmetrical half of AEL is different from the same distance of the second symmetrical half of AEL on magnitude 0.05 mm and more, change of AEL position in eye is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows to increase accuracy of diagnostics with simultaneous method simplification.
