FIELD: applicable as a deflector in control systems of optical beam position in space.
SUBSTANCE: the solid-state actuator has a ferroceramic rod with a cross-shaped cross section fastened on the base, and a circular rotary component fastened on the peripheral part of the rod end. The rod consists of four rigidly joined components with an angular cross section, outer electrodes are applied on the surface of the plates forming them. The electrodes on the surfaces of mechanical coupling of all angular components are connected electrically and form an inner electrode of the rod. The outer electrodes of the rod are electrically connected so that they form two axisymmetric systems connected to the outputs of the two-channel source. The inner electrode is connected to the common leadout of the control voltage source. The circular swivel component is mechanically coupled to the tool.
EFFECT: enhanced angular transposition of the tool due to production of torsional strain.
