FIELD: biotechnology and cellular engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing bent-grass (Agrostis) plants tolerated to copper ions. Method involves culturing bent-grass callus for 2-3 passages in Murasige-Skuga medium with 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid taken in the concentration 1-3 mg/l and with copper substance taken in the concentration 100-200 mg/l up to preparing regenerating calluses. Then method involves carrying out the regeneration in Murasige-Skuga medium with copper substance taken in the concentration 100-150 mg/l and rooting plants in Murasige-Skuga medium with copper substance taken in the concentration 100-150 mg/l. Invention provides rapid and effective preparing bent-grass plants with the hereditary determined resistance to copper ions and retention of high decorative qualities.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
