FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform a wedge-like dissection of ingrown nail with its root, matrix, matrix' groove and nail roller. Then comes suturing by the following technique: one should perform puncture in and puncture out from the opposite side leaving against the nail's edge, tighten a knot at the nail so that external edge could be turned in being adjacent with a nail. In peculiar case, at bilateral damage one should perform analogous dissection from the opposite side. The innovation suggested enables to decrease traumaticity level and shorten therapy terms.
EFFECT: improved cosmetic result.
