FIELD: mineral coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming coatings using powder materials. Formation of wear-resistant coating on the surfaces of metal and alloy parts involves coating surface with layer containing mineral material powder with particle size 0.1 to 50 μm (75-90%) mixed with glue (10-25%). Dried layer is then exposed to pressure by way of rolling and/or ultrasonic treatment, while displacing working surface of tool relative to part by rotating or translating the latter.
EFFECT: improved quality of coating due to reliability of attachment of required amount of mineral material.
