FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed method, rod is preliminary made for building up by sintering mineral material powder with dispersity of 0.1 to 100 mcm with binder, its melting point being below the point of first structural-phase transition of selected material. Sintered rod is pressed against part surface with the help of clamping device at pressure that ensures mass transfer of mineral material from aforesaid rod onto surface. Material transferred onto part surface is pressed in by ultrasound unit or roller fitted together with clamping device on machine tool support so that aforesaid rod is located ahead of ultrasound unit or roller. Process is conducted with simultaneous plastic deformation of surface layers by moving the revolving or reciprocating part relative to tool.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of mineral material, except for manual jobs.
