FIELD: electronic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pin-type periodic slow-wave structure for traveling-wave tube has cluster of cells disposed along axis with period T, each of them being provided with case concentric to this axis and transit-time tube concentrically installed on pin within its space . Newly introduced in each cell are elements correcting disperse characteristic of slow-wave structure.
EFFECT: improved disperse characteristic of slow-wave structure.
