FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to slow-wave structures (SWS) of plug-in type for lamps of travelling wave (TWL) of continuous pulse action of wave lengths of millimetre (MM) range. Device includes wave-guide with square inner cross section in the cavity of which there arranged perpendicular to the first and the second adjacent walls of wave-guide are plugs of the first and the second plug-in combs equipped with straight channels; at that, the third and the fourth adjacent walls of wave-guide are equipped with the first and the second rectangular protrusions arranged along the wave-guide and located opposite the end faces of plugs of the first and the second plug-in combs. Width and height of rectangular protrusions are chosen from the specified conditions.

EFFECT: increasing stability of TWL of MM range of wave lengths to singing on π- and 2π - kinds of oscillations at simultaneous reduction of overall dimensions and simplifying the design of its slow-wave structure.
