FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, process for melting of metal by reducing material containing metal oxide in fluidized bed reactor.
SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing material containing ferric oxide in fluidized bed reactor and melting reduced material in melting gasifier filled with reducing gas produced from carbon-containing material and used for reducing of metal oxide containing material in fluidized bed, with both reduction of metal oxide containing material and melting of reduced material being provided under pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure. For transferring of reduced material from fluidized bed reactor into melting gasifier, pressure is set in intermediate vessel disposed higher than melting gasifier, said pressure being lower than that in fluidized bed reactor, with the result that upon pressure relaxation, reduced material flows upward from fluidized bed reactor into intermediate vessel and is further directed from intermediate vessel through slice system into melting gasifier under increased pressure. Apparatus has fluidized bed reactor, with fluidized bed being substantially arranged at the level of height mark N of melting gasifier. Feeding device is equipped with pipeline, which goes out from fluidized bed reactor, protrudes beyond melting gasifier and extends into intermediate vessel equipped with deaerator. Sluice system is provided between intermediate vessel and feeding opening formed in melting gasifier cupola and designed for feeding of reduced material.
EFFECT: provision for arranging fluidized bed reactors at the level of height of melting gasifier, simplified feeding of material into melting gasifier, in particular, into cupola zone thereof, without disrupting the processes occurring in melting gasifier due to feeding of reduced material under gravity.
