FIELD: transport mechanical engineering; heat exchange apparatus; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed water-and-oil heat exchanger has shell, oil supply and discharge pipe unions and water branch pipes; proposed heat exchanger consists of oil tanks provided with bottoms; water branch pipes are welded at centers of oil tanks bottoms; cylindrical shell is secured in end faces of tank bottoms by means of cooling flat-and-oval multi-passage tubes located in fan-shaped pattern over circumference and interconnected by means of tubular strainer; one outer diaphragm mounted inside shell is made in form of ring with slots for flat-and-oval tubes found on internal surface and two inner diaphragms made in form of rings with slots for flat-and-oval tube found on external surface; besides that, end faces of heat exchanger are closed with covers of oil tanks on which oil supply and discharge pipe unions are mounted; flat-and-oval tubes have inner partitions dividing the tubes into several passages.
EFFECT: increased heat exchange and operating pressure.
