FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has probe having pressure sensor and vibrator and microprocessor connected to the sensor and vibrator. Method involves first introducing the probe into patient vagina or rectum and determining and recording maximum force applied patient when contracting pelvic fundus muscles. Pelvic fundus muscle contractions are repeated with known time intervals and the force produced by pelvic fundus muscles in each contraction is determined and compared to recorded maximum value. The vibrator is started on each pelvic fundus muscle contraction even if the force satisfies relationship to the recorded value given in advance and only during time interval set in advance while the relationship remains valid.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of training with controllable result.
