FIELD: treatment of continuously cast metallic billets during process of rolling them.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle beam for cooling or descaling continuously cast metallic billets, namely rolled material, includes liquid feeding unit for treating product and additional liquid supply unit for cooling apparatus; cooling liquid drainage and switching member engaged with drainage for opening/closing duct for draining cooling liquid. In order to provide desired cooling degree of treating apparatus itself after cutting-off liquid feed for treating product, switching member may be automatically turned-on by action of cooling liquid pressure controlling treating mode.
EFFECT: possibility for cooling treating apparatus itself when it is not necessary to cool rolled material.
