SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic biomicroscopic examination and determining ciliary body and its processes arrangement relative to line crossing the limb and anterior chamber angle and arranged in perpendicular to iris plane. The ciliary body and its processes being arranged in front of the line, intraocular lens implantation into the anterior chamber is indicated. The ciliary body and its processes being arranged on the line, intraocular lens implantation is indicated with anchoring member being fixed in pupil area. The ciliary body and its processes being arranged backward relative to the line, intraocular lens is implanted into the posterior chamber.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in determining indications; reduced risk of postoperative complications.
