FIELD: vehicle for invalids.
SUBSTANCE: wheeled armchair has lever-type drive for moving on stair, wheel blocks, shaft with toothed wheels and additional moving device made in the form of lever-type drive which cooperates through connecting link with toothed wheels via carriers. Shaft is made pivotal and is equipped with sprocket heads. Sprockets are engageable with chain portions positioned on stair rail. Such construction allows arm chair with invalid to be ascended and descended on stair steps without accompanying personnel.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to simplified ascending and descending of armchair on stair.
