FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for preserving amnion envelope involves using placenta after cesarean section and removing blood clots and chorion residues. Amnion cut by trepan for segments 28-30 mm is placed in sterile Petri dishes, frozen at t = -40°C, lyophilized to residual moisture 2-5% for 24 h followed by sterilizing hermetically packaged and marked samples of amnion by γ-irradiation in the dose 25 KGr. Before using the lyophilized amnion envelope is rehydrated in sterile physiological solution or antibiotic solution for 40-60 min. Method provides enhancing the effectiveness of using and increasing time for storage of preserved amnion with retention of its bioplastic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Invention can be used for preserving donor amnion designated for transplantation.
EFFECT: improved preserving method of amnion.
