FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves recording selected eyeball conjunctiva field. The image is processed with control field being selected and main parameters of blood microcirculation and blood microcirculation channel. Relative values of said parameters are determined. When recording selected eyeball conjunctiva field, digital photo and video cameras are used. When processing the images, image background density is determined first of all and then, optical image density is stepwise reduced by background density value. Intermediate images are built for determining blood microcirculation states. Shadowed area is determined on the first intermediate image where mean optical density is not less than 1-15% as large as the optical density of the rest of the first intermediate image area. The shadow zones are removed from the first intermediate image producing in this way the second intermediate image. Area occupied by capillaries is determined on the second intermediate image. The area occupied by capillaries is removed from the image to produce the third one. Area occupied by arterioles and venules, micro blood vessel crimpiness, arteriole and venule diameters inhomogeneity and rheologic specific features in the arterioles and venules are determined on the third intermediate image.
EFFECT: high quality of conjunctiva image; reduced role of subjective factor.
