FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves finding vascular network areas having erythrocyte aggregates in performing eye bulb conjunctiva biomicroscopy examination. Then, 1% papaverine hydrochloride solution is dropped on the conjunctiva. Secondary microscopy examination is applied. Capillary response is evaluated in 2 min. Capillary dilatation accompanied with vanishing intravascular erythrocyte aggregation being observed, functional intravascular erythrocyte aggregation is to be diagnosed. No or insignificant functional intravascular capillary dilatation without sludge phenomenon vanishing and blood circulation normalized, being observed, organic intravascular erythrocyte aggregation is to be diagnosed.
