FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of gray glass of silicate-sodium-lime type with the total light transmission A (TLA) at effect of light source exceeding 15% of glass thickness = 4.85 mm. The gray glass composition comprises coloring substances taken in the following limits by mass: Fe2O3, from 0.25 to <0.65%, preferably, from 0.3 to 0.6%, and more preferably from 0.3 to 0.4%; CoO, from 150 to 250 ppm, and preferably above 185 ppm; NiO, from 650 to 1000 ppm, and Se, less 5 ppm. Invention provides the development of compositions showing the total light transmission at effect of the light source exceeding 15% for glass thickness 4.85 mm.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition.
