FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pumping air through closed volume enclosing bactericide lamps inside. Quartz lamps having ozone-producing spectrum line in its luminous spectrum of 185 nm wavelength and ultraviolet and quartz lamps not containing this line. The lamps are combined in groups of luminous sources of the same type. Each group is independently switched on and off. The device has casing with bactericide lamps, mechanism for pumping air through, power supply source and control unit, quartz lamps, contain spectral line of 185 nm and ultraviolet and quartz lamps not containing this line. The pumped air volume per 1 h is calculated from an empirical formula. Internal casing walls reflect radiation of 254 nm and 185 nm. The casing and partitions are manufactured from polished aluminum or stainless steel.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of sterilization; high treatment safety level.
