FIELD: feed production industry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes pumpkin chipping to produce morsels of 3-5 cm, laired charging in storehouse with conserving agent such as benzoic acid and sealing. In chipping process 0.4 kg of lactic acid bacterium mother liquid and 7 kg of benzoic acid are sequentially added into 1 t of pumpkin mass.
EFFECT: pumpkin paste of improved quality due to increased carotene content and decreased moisture, and prolonged storage time.
