FIELD: device for drying of free-flowing materials by superheated vapor in a closed container.
SUBSTANCE: the container has a set of lengthened and practically vertical production cells open from the top, positioned around the central part containing a heat exchanger. The last of the mentioned production cells has a closed bottom and serves as an unloading cell, whereas the bottom of the other cells is vaportight. Superheated vapor from the heat exchanger is injected through the vaportight bottom of the cells, the free-flowing material is subjected to drying as it passes through the production cells. The upper part of the container has a dust separation system in the form of a cyclone for cleaning of vapor coming out upwards from the production cells before it returns through the heat exchanger. Vapor is fed to the cyclone in the upper part of the cyclone so as to separate the larger wet particles and return them to the production cells before the vapor is fed to the cyclone.
EFFECT: enhanced capacity without reduction of the quality of the ready-made product.
