FIELD: optical-mechanical surveillance systems, possible use in equipment for active and passive location of space.
SUBSTANCE: construction of scanning device for all-around surveillance consists of two moving blocks, mounted concentrically in immovable body and having one rotary degree of freedom relatively to common longitudinal axis. Each of moveable blocks is connected through a reducer to drive, which includes engine and position indicator, mounted on immovable body. Difference of angular speeds of moveable blocks is transformed to scanning by angle of position of elements of optical assembly, mounted at moveable block. During rotation of moveable blocks at one angular speed, simultaneous tracking occurs by azimuth and position angle.
EFFECT: excluded contact rings, improved reliability, decreased inertia momentum of moving parts due to repositioning of their wires onto immobile body.
