FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical-mechanical surveillance systems and can be used in equipment for active and passive location in space. The device has a fixed housing in which there are first and second movable units which form a concentric structure with a common axis of rotation about the fixed housing, an optical scanning unit mounted on the axis of a movable support, which is rigidly joined to the first movable unit and kinematically linked to the second movable unit. Each of the movable units is equipped with a drive with an electric motor and a position sensor whose optocouples are mounted on the fixed housing. Electric motor stators lie on the fixed housing. Hollow rotors of the electric motors of the first and second drives and code discs of the position sensors are mounted on the first and second movable units, respectively.
EFFECT: faster operation and higher accuracy of positioning and tracking.
