FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engines with combustion in constant volume. Proposed engine has housing and rotor made of form of solid of revolution hermetically adjoining by outer circular surface to inner circular surface of housing. Working chambers with lengthwise ports are uniformly spaced over circumference. Each chamber is divided into main and additional parts, main part being designed for implementing thermodynamic cycle of internal combustion engine, and additional chamber, for filling-in additional air. Air channel inside rotor serves to supply air to working chambers, and exhaust channel serves to let out combustion products from working chambers in process of their scavenging and filling with air, and working channel is provided to let out hot gas and additional air from working chambers and to convert excess energy into torque on engine rotor. Bypass channels of rotor periodically connect main parts of working chambers in which fuel combustion process has completed and main parts of working chambers filled with air to provide compression of air. Connecting channel of rotor periodically connects main parts of working chambers, after bypassing of hot gas, with additional parts of working chambers for compressing additional air.
EFFECT: increased specific parameters of engine.
