FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves studying bronchial epithelium cells received in taking bronchial biopsy samples from patient by applying brush biopsy techniques. Quantitative nuclear protrusion number counting is carried out in said bronchial epithelium cells. To them visible, the cells are dried out, fixed in prepared fresh mixture of ethyl alcohol and glacial acetic acid, dried in the air and stained with 2.5% solution of aceto-orcein, washed with heated distilled water, dried in the air and cell cytoplasm is stained is finished with 1% alcohol solution of light green and washed with distilled water. Next, the cells are examined with optical microscope in transmitted light and counted in 1000 cells. Cell share having protrusions in ppm. If bronchial epithelium cell number with nuclear protrusions being available is found to be equal to 30%, the patient is considered to be ill in tuberculosis. The value being greater than 30%, malignant pulmonary lesion is considered to be the case.

EFFECT: high reliability and accuracy of diagnosis.
