FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely dermatovenereology and oncology, particularly to a method for differential diagnostics of actinic keratosis and squamous cell carcinoma. That is ensured by immunohistochemical examination to determine the expression localization of Claudine-1 intercellular adhesion molecule in a cell. If observing a negative immunoreactivity of up to 30 % and membrane expression of Claudine-1 within 70–93 %, absence of membrane-reduced and cytoplasmic expression, actinic keratosis is diagnosed; if observing negative immunoreactivity within 31–80 % and membrane expression of Claudine-1 to 41 %, in the absence of membrane-reduced and cytoplasmic expression, squamous cell carcinoma is diagnosed; if observing negative immunoreactivity within 31–80 % and membrane expression of Claudine-1 to 41 %, presence of membrane-reduced expression within 10–40 % and cytoplasmic within 10–70 % diagnose squamous cancer.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of differential diagnosis of actinic keratosis and squamous cell cancer by detecting by means of immunohistochemistry localization in cells of Claudine-1 adhesive molecule.
