FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be used to determine coherence episodes of dynamic seismogenesis system of analyzed territory. Essence: based on materials of seismic stations spaced on the surface, a sample of earthquakes of representative energy classes is formed. Map of distribution of epicenters of the above earthquakes is plotted. Spatial field of epicenters of earthquakes is divided into relatively homogeneous areas. For each section there determined is series of annual parameters of seismicity. For each section, three-, five- and ten-year arrays of said annual parameters are formed. Arrays of one time interval with step of one year are used to calculate coefficients of pairwise linear correlation of compared pairs of sections. Sums of annual values of correlation coefficients of arrays of one time interval are calculated. Calculated sums are normalized to the number of correlated pairs of sections. Standard deviation of spread of coefficient of pairwise linear correlation is calculated. Graphs of time variation of sums normalized to the number of correlated pairs of sections are plotted. According to the obtained graphs, the coherence episodes of the dynamic seismogenesis system of the analyzed territory are determined, which reflect the time-consistent changes in the structure of the fractured fracture of the lithosphere.
EFFECT: technical result is determination of coherence episodes of dynamic seismogenesis system of analyzed territory.
