FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for technical control of lithosphere condition by kinematic type of motions in earthquake sources at instrumental recording of earthquakes and data processing. According to the disclosed method, a map of earthquake epicenters of the analysed region is plotted on the basis of experimental materials spaced on the surface of seismic stations. For each seismic station by amplitude and seismic oscillation periods on the seismograms kinematic and dynamic parameters of the analyzed earthquake are determined. Seismic moment of the earthquake is calculated from the hypocentral distance, the maximum amplitude and the period of seismic vibrations on the volume transverse S-wave of each seismic station. According to data of all seismic stations, sampling-array of seismic moments of this earthquake is created. From the sample-array of seismic moments, the average earthquake seismic moment and its standard deviation are calculated. Average seismic moment is compared with the calibration value of the seismic moment of the push of the same energy class and the kinematic type of movement in the source of the earthquake is determined taking into account the standard deviation.
EFFECT: technical result is determination of kinematic type of motions in earthquake sources with the purpose of technical control of lithosphere condition during destruction of rocks in depths of lithosphere.
